SIRI & ALEXA - THE FIRST AI-MARRIAGE
2019, Vienna celebrates the arrival of both EuroPride and marriage equality. The Vienna Tourist Board wants to make everyone aware of that – by celebrating a wedding stunt with the world: The Wedding of Siri and Alexa – the world’s first A.I. marriage.
Our Alexa Skill “The Pride Skill” made it possible: with a special trigger, a dialogue can be initiated between Siri and Alexa that leads to the symbolic marriage of the two AIs. “The Pride Skill” is officially available in the Amazon Skill Store.
This way everyone in the world could marry their own Siri and Alexa to get in the mood for EuroPride Vienna and to take a stand for gay marriage – even in countries where gay marriage is controversial and illegal.
The campaign took of instantly in Austria, received praise from press, TV and media outlets, and generated European and global attention. “The Wedding of Siri and Alexa" raised voice for gay marriage rights and invited more people to come to EuroPride than ever before: a record number of over 1.5 Million visitors.
