CHRISTMAS DOESN'T NEED MUCH. ONLY LOVE
Although Christmas is the festival of love, it’s often about expensive gifts that many cannot afford: According to the Federal Statistical Office, 19.7 % of the people in Germany are affected by poverty. Among our customers, 44 % have to count every cent.
We know the living conditions of our customers and did not want to put more pressure on them at Christmas. Instead, we reminded them of something they already have. The most valuable gift ever: love.
Christmas doesn’t need much. Only love.
Lovingly handcrafted, our film tells the story of a single mother and her son. Although she doesn't have much money, she manages to prepare a wonderful Christmas gift for her son – only using her creativity and love.
The film, which was partly shot real and partly 3D-animated, reached 22 million views, but more importantly hit people right at the heart.
But we didn't stop here. What started with a film became much more. Across all channels, we translated the message into our clients' reality.
On our campaign website, parents could submit their children's heartfelt wishes. Among many wish fulfillments, we documented 3 particularly touching stories. Julia was allowed to go sledding with huskies, Elias to drive a Trabi. We also inspired thousands of parents to make a Christmas gift full of love themselves with our craft kit. In total 32 million video views and more than 300k interactions prove that our message hit people right in the heart.
